iQOO 13 to launch in India with a smaller battery than Chinese model

The iQOO 13 is set to launch in India with a slight difference from its Chinese counterpart — a smaller battery. Despite this change, the overall features and design are expected to remain almost identical. According to the company, the iQOO 13 will be available in India in the first week of December, following its debut in China last month. While the Chinese variant boasts a 6,150mAh battery, the Indian version will come with a slightly reduced 6,000mAh battery. This minor reduction in capacity may not significantly impact usage, as the device still supports 120W fast charging.
The rest of the hardware, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Q2 gaming processor, remains the same. The phone will also feature a BOE Q10 8T LTPO 2.0 OLED display with 2K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and vibrant visual experience. Additionally, the iQOO 13 is equipped with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, making it a durable choice for users.
In China, the iQOO 13 features a 6.82-inch 2K BOE Q10 8T LTPO OLED display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR support. It packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the phone includes a Q2 gaming chipset and runs on Android 15 with the OriginOS 5 skin out of the box.
For optics, the iQOO 13 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with OIS. The rear camera module is complemented by a customisable “Energy Halo” LED that supports six dynamic effects and 12 colour combinations. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device is backed by a 6,150mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging. For biometric authentication, there is an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The flagship device is IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port and more.
