Missing Mom’s Suspected Killer Arrested After Daughter Finds Pieces Of Bone On Her Driveway

A Ohio man was indicted on charges accusing him of killing his live-in girlfriend after their daughter found bone fragments in their driveway, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced Wednesday.
James Drahos, 58, was indicted on charges of murder, gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and domestic violence in the death of 56-year-old Tammy Dubuisson, according to the announcement.
Dubuisson was last seen on May 22 at her home in Cleveland, but was reported missing almost a month later on June 19, according to reports by WOIO.
O’Malley said the killing happened between May 16 and June 6 this year, when Drahos struck Dubuisson in the head, causing her to fall to the ground. He then left her in the driveway for about 8 to 10 hours and did not call for help.
When he returned to the driveway, O’Malley said, Drahos wrapped her body in trash bags and threw it in a garbage can. On June 6, Drahos moved the body to a dumpster at a nearby elementary school.
The couple’s daughter found bone fragments in her parents’ driveway on July 7 and called police, according to the announcement. Drahos was arrested two days later, after the medical examiner’s office confirmed the bones were human remains.
It’s unclear whether Drahos has an attorney representing him and police have not indicated a suspected motive. Court records reviewed by HuffPost shows he did not enter a plea.
